Throughout her career in public service, Magogodi Elizabeth Tebogo Malaka has established herself as a respected figure in governance, financial management, and infrastructure development. Magogodi Malaka’s work reflects a consistent focus on strengthening institutions, delivering impactful programmes, and advancing sustainable development outcomes across the public sector.
With more than 20 years of service in the public sector, Ms. Malaka advances strategic priorities and strengthens accountability frameworks. She also supports the delivery of critical infrastructure programmes that benefit communities.
Earlier in her career, Ms. Malaka served as a non-executive director at SENTECH, a state-owned enterprise in the communications and digital infrastructure sector. In this role, she contributed to board-level governance, strategic oversight, and risk management. She also served as chairperson of the Human Resources, Remuneration and Nomination Committee, where she supported leadership development and organisational effectiveness.
In 2020, she became a board member at Magalies Water. In this role, she is responsible for the organization’s strategic leadership and financial management, as well as infrastructure delivery.
